My name is Shelby and all my friends make fun of me! Why you ask. Because they all find it so freaking hilarious to use my bleak existence as a punch line for all of their jokes. For some odd reason I still love them.
Things that put a bit of color in my black and white world: Damien Rice, a good book, the smell of old paperbacks, the bookstore, my crazy sarcastic twin, intelligent writing, sophisticated intellectuals who carry comic books in their back pockets, my future black husband, whales, British television, anything Hayao Miyazaki or John Green, Avatar: the last Airbender, being creative, the origami cranes hanging above my bed, any great hamburger, avocados, my beautiful black best friend, anything that makes me laugh, acting, dancing (although I'm awful at it), Indie music, my favorite book of all time, The Book Theif....Oh! and my Noah! :)
